Thank you for your interest in Paint and Sip Carmel By The Sea!  This business captures my greatest passions- art & teaching (and wine if I'm being completely honest). I am the sole owner, instructor and host. A classically and commercially trained artist, my experience has spanned over 25 years.  I had my own art school for the last 10 years. My husband and I recently purchased a home in Carmel so we could enjoy the most beautiful place on earth for 5 months out of the year.

This is an Elevated Paint & Sip Experience

Over the years I have seen many paint and sip businesses come and go. What is different about this format is that each artist can choose a unique painting. Most of the references are landscapes and seascapes from the Monterey Peninsula and therefore make a terrific item to take home and hang on the wall. Also, I have prepared a canvas for each image with a basic drawing of the scene so no artist is starting from scratch.  Also, and most importantly...I have been teaching beginners for so long that I know how to get the most from every skill level.  I know the common mistakes and how to avoid them.  I give tricks of the trade, and very practical advice for making a painting you will be proud to show off. Each painting is 11x14, a standard size panel that is easy to travel and frame along with being quick to dry.
